About The Position

Corpay is hiring a Virtual Card Support Specialist in its payments division and Corpay line of business. The position is located in Brentwood, Tennessee, and supports payment automation by interacting daily with vendors of Corpay customers to resolve unprocessed or unsettled payments. The PPS team contacts vendors on customers’ behalf to report unprocessed payments and help complete payments. The role requires strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and advanced phone and customer service skills.

The role is hybrid. Corpay provides an assigned workspace in Brentwood, company-issued equipment, and formal hands-on training.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• At least one year of data-entry experience with customer contact.
• At least two years of experience in an office environment.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to resolve payment, system, or data-quality issues.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support customers and vendors through outbound phone calls to resolve unprocessed or unsettled transactions.
• Educate vendors on payment processes.
• Verify contact and remit-to information for processing electronic payments.
• Accurately enter information into the database.
• Maintain accurate notes of supplier contact and outreach attempts.
• Create follow-up tickets based on vendors’ requests.
• Collaborate with Payment Modifications and Vendor Retention teams to coordinate refunds and reissues.
• Follow strict compliance procedures and maintain confidentiality.
• Perform miscellaneous projects and duties as assigned.
