About The Position
At Space Coast Credit Union (SCCU), the Card Specialist I supports the growth, maintenance, and overall management of the credit union’s debit and credit card portfolios while delivering exceptional member service. The role handles member inquiries, card statuses and orders, fraud prevention, file maintenance, workflow requests, account adjustments and reconciliations, and other tasks essential to SCCU’s card programs. The position is based at SCCU’s Miramar Operations Center. SCCU offers hybrid and flexible schedule options, on-the-job training, and opportunities for internal career growth.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 to 12 months of prior experience in credit and debit card services or a similar field preferred.

Responsibilities
- Provide phone support in the General Servicing queue to front-line team members and other departments needing department-specific assistance, and assist members directly when appropriate.
- Process general servicing debit and credit card requests submitted through department workflows.
- Review automated member debit and credit fraud alerts and take appropriate action.
- Assist with debit and credit card statuses, including activations, blocks, and restrictions.
- Assist with debit and credit card orders, including new and replacement cards, tracking information, and related requests.
- Assist with card production documentation, card inventory, supply management, and recurring machine maintenance.
