AO is expanding its nationwide remote team and is looking for motivated, service-oriented professionals who enjoy building relationships and making a positive impact. As a Virtual Benefits Consultant, you'll work directly with individuals and families through virtual appointments, helping them understand available supplemental benefits while delivering exceptional customer service. Whether you're beginning a new career or looking for your next opportunity, you'll receive comprehensive training, ongoing mentorship, and the support needed to thrive in a fully remote environment. As a Virtual Benefits Consultant, you'll become a trusted resource for clients by providing education, guidance, and personalized support throughout the enrollment process.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Have access to a computer or laptop
- Maintain a reliable high-speed internet connection
- Have webcam and microphone capability
- Maintain a quiet, professional workspace
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Strong relationship-building and problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivation with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote team
- Coachability and a commitment to continuous learning
Nice To Haves
- Experience in customer service, sales, retail, hospitality, healthcare, education, leadership, or other client-facing roles is helpful—but not required. We welcome professionals from a wide variety of backgrounds.
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients virtually using Zoom and other online platforms
- Educate individuals and families about available benefit programs and coverage options
- Answer questions and provide personalized recommendations based on client needs
- Build long-term relationships through exceptional customer service and follow-through
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation
- Collaborate with teammates to deliver an outstanding client experience
- Participate in ongoing training, mentorship, and leadership development programs
