About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a skilled and dedicated Violin/Viola Teacher to teach private music lessons and inspire students. The teacher will create an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment for students of varying ages and skill levels. They will communicate with students and parents about goals and progress, coordinate lesson scheduling with store teams, and share their musical expertise to foster student growth. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of music teaching experience, especially with violin and viola.

Nice To Haves

• Further teaching experience with related instruments.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments.

Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels.
• Build positive relationships with students and parents through regular communication, goal-setting, and progress updates.
• Partner with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention.
• Share musical expertise to inspire students and foster their growth.
