About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking an educator who is a skilled musician and dedicated to empowering learners. The Violin/Viola Teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment where students can thrive, and teaches students of varying ages and skill levels. The role focuses on inspiring students and supporting their growth through private music lessons. Music & Arts handles administrative work, while the teacher partners with store teams on lesson scheduling and student retention.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of music teaching experience, especially with violin and/or viola.

Nice To Haves

• Further experience teaching related instruments.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments.

Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels.
• Build positive relationships with students and parents through regular communication, goal-setting, and progress updates.
• Partner with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention.
• Share musical expertise to inspire students and foster their growth.
• Create an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment.
