About The Position
Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional violin instructor to teach in person part-time at Tampa Music School in Wesley Chapel, Florida. Lessons take place in the afternoon and evening, between 2 p.m. and 9 p.m. Teachers may set their availability within the school’s open hours; consistent availability is appreciated, and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability. Tampa Music School fosters a supportive environment where students of all ages are challenged, educated, and able to grow through professionally structured weekly lessons. The school emphasizes praise, strategic training, encouragement, and accountability to help develop students’ self-esteem, confidence, and ability. Ensemble Schools is a collaborative network of community-driven music and dance schools that shares resources while each school maintains its own identity. Pay is commensurate with experience and ranges from $25 to $30 per hour. Requirements
- Strong music background demonstrated by a degree in music performance, education, or pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
- Demonstrated love of teaching.
- Experience working with young musicians.
- Punctuality.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a routine background check.
