About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a skilled violin educator who is dedicated to empowering learners. The teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment and teaches students of varying ages and skill levels. The role includes building relationships with students and parents through communication, goal-setting, and progress updates; coordinating with store teams on lesson scheduling and student retention; and using musical expertise to inspire students and support their growth. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of music teaching experience, especially on violin.

Nice To Haves

• Further teaching experience with related instruments.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments, including banjo, baritone, bass clarinet, bass guitar, bassoon, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, guitar, mandolin, oboe, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice.
