About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking an educator to teach violin lessons and inspire students of varying ages and skill levels. The teacher will create an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment and build positive relationships with students and parents through regular communication, goal-setting, and progress updates. The role partners with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching. The position is part-time at Store #080 in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. The listed pay is $15.92 per hour for non-teaching work and $11–$22 per hour for teaching, depending on background and experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of music teaching experience, especially with violin.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with related instruments.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments.
