About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a voice teacher to teach private music lessons and help students build a lifelong relationship with music. The teacher will create an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment for students of varying ages and skill levels, and will communicate with students and parents about goals and progress. Store teams handle administrative work and partner with teachers to schedule lessons and encourage student retention. The role is part-time and located at Store #080 in Lawrenceville, New Jersey.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of music teaching experience, especially with voice.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with piano or related instruments.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments.

Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels.
• Build positive relationships with students and parents through regular communication, goal-setting, and progress updates.
• Partner with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention.
• Share musical expertise to inspire students and foster their growth.
