Videographer/ Camera Operator - Pittsburgh
About The Position
DanceBUG is hiring videographers for our February–June dance competition season. This role involves traveling across the U.S. to film live events. While no dance experience is required, candidates should have experience with cameras or live production. The company provides all equipment and paid training, including virtual instruction and hands-on experience at live events. The typical schedule is Thursday or Friday through Sunday or Monday, with events across the U.S. This position focuses solely on operating cameras and livestream systems, with no editing or post-production responsibilities.
Requirements
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Within about an hour of a major airport
- Available for weekend travel
- Comfortable with long days and occasional 5–6-hour drives
- Able to lift about 50 pounds
- Able to pass a background check
- Experience with cameras or live production (sports, weddings, concerts, theatre, broadcasting, livestreaming, OBS or multi-camera work)
- Comfortable with technology and fast-paced events

- No dance experience required
Responsibilities
- Travel to competitions
