About The Position
DanceBUG is hiring videographers for our February–June dance competition season. This role involves traveling the U.S. to film live events. No editing or post-production is required, as equipment and training will be provided. The typical schedule is Thursday or Friday through Sunday or Monday, with events across the U.S. The role includes operating cameras and livestream systems, monitoring video feeds, and uploading event media.
Requirements
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Reside within about an hour of a major airport
- Available for weekend travel
- Comfortable with long days and occasional 5–6-hour drives
- Able to lift about 50 pounds
- Able to pass a background check
- Experience with cameras or live production (sports, weddings, concerts, theatre, broadcasting, livestreaming, OBS or multi-camera work)
- Comfortable with technology and fast-paced events
