About The Position
DanceBUG is seeking Sports & Live Event Videographers for their February-June dance competition season. This role involves traveling across the U.S. to film live events. While no dance experience is necessary, candidates should have experience with cameras or live production. DanceBUG will provide all necessary equipment and offer paid training, including virtual instruction and hands-on experience at live events. The position focuses solely on operating cameras and livestream systems, monitoring video feeds, and uploading media, with no editing or post-production required.
Requirements
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Reside within about an hour of a major airport
- Available for weekend travel
- Comfortable with long days and occasional 5-6 hour drives
- Able to lift about 50 pounds
- Able to pass a background check
- Experience with cameras or live production (sports, weddings, concerts, theatre, broadcasting, livestreaming, OBS or multi-camera work)
- Comfortable with technology and fast-paced events
