About The Position

The Cincinnati Insurance Companies are seeking a Video Production Intern for their communications department(s) for Summer 2027 at their corporate headquarters in Fairfield, OH. Hybrid work options are available in select departments. Requirements

  • Enrolled as a full-time, junior, senior, or graduate student at an accredited college/university
  • All majors are welcome (strong preference to Electronic Media, Television/Video, or closely related)
  • Collegiate transcripts required with submission of candidate profile (unofficial are acceptable)
  • In good academic standing (cumulative GPA: 3.0 or higher preferred)
  • Must be able to work up to 40 hours per week; Hybrid schedule eligible
  • Experience in all three phases of videography: pre-production, production, and post-production
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro required)
  • Microsoft® Office tools and related software
  • Ability to work in the United States for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship
  • Not require sponsorship at any time in the future, including Optional Practical Training (OPT) or Curricular Practical Training (CPT)

Nice To Haves

  • A resume reel
  • Good working knowledge of After Effects, Adobe Animate and Adobe Character Animator

Responsibilities

  • Assist with business activities and processes
  • Participate and contribute to team meetings, presentations, and projects
  • Partner with the creative team and customer(s) to plan video shoots
  • Set up and tear down cameras, lighting, microphones, props and other equipment
  • Edit footage in post-production; add graphics and special effects to tell concise, visually pleasing stories
  • Capture B-roll footage
  • Log and organize materials for video library
  • Serve internal and external customers
  • Participate in an introductory insurance class(es)
  • Engage with different departments to understand the corporate structure
  • Interact with leadership and experienced associates
  • Participate in group and individual projects
