The scholarship includes a financial award towards tuition and a paid, project-based internship during the summer session at one of Teknor Apex's manufacturing facilities, designed around the student's field of study.

Requirements

• Student at the University of Rhode Island
• Full-time undergraduate student
• Completion of sophomore year studies (rising Junior)
• Field of study in Engineering or Chemistry
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
• Willingness to work one summer session in a Teknor Apex manufacturing facility
• Application submitted by February 21, 2025

Responsibilities

• Be enrolled as a full-time student in an undergraduate program at the University of Rhode Island.
• Have completed sophomore year studies (be a rising Junior).
• Be pursuing a field of study in an Engineering discipline or Chemistry.
• Maintain a minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
• Be willing to work one summer session in one of Teknor Apex’s manufacturing facilities.
• Complete the paid, full-time, project-based internship during the summer session.
• Remain in good academic standing and complete the field of study to maintain eligibility for subsequent semesters.
