Business Strategy and Planning, Vice President

State Street•Quincy, MA
•$110,000 - $188,750

About The Position

State Street is seeking a highly experienced transformation leader to serve as Vice President, Project Manager for its Onboarding Transformation initiative. The role provides day-to-day execution leadership to translate enterprise strategy and the target operating model into an integrated roadmap, coordinating change across business operations, technology, data, risk and controls. It works closely with the accountable executive sponsor and senior workstream leaders to move the initiative from target-state design through implementation, adoption and benefits realization. The transformation connects client and account onboarding, ongoing lifecycle changes and offboarding into one enterprise capability. The role will establish clear scope, ownership, milestones, decision rights, governance and delivery commitments across a global, highly matrixed organization. It is an execution-oriented leadership position—not a traditional reporting-focused PMO role—and requires connecting strategy, operating-model design and implementation across organizational boundaries. The position coordinates process redesign, workflow and data initiatives, controls, business readiness, migration and transition to the future operating model. It also defines and tracks measurable outcomes, including onboarding cycle time, handoffs, manual activity, data quality, control effectiveness, client experience and operational efficiency. State Street describes its employee offering as including inclusive development opportunities, flexible work-life support, paid volunteer days and employee networks, in addition to its comprehensive benefits program.
