State Street is seeking an experienced transformation leader to provide day-to-day execution leadership for its Onboarding Transformation initiative. The role translates the enterprise vision and target operating model into an integrated roadmap and coordinates change across business operations, technology, data, risk and controls. The VP will work closely with the accountable executive sponsor and senior workstream leaders to move the program from target-state design into implementation, creating clear ownership, accelerating decisions and ensuring commitments produce measurable outcomes. This is an enterprise transformation leadership role, not a traditional reporting-focused PMO position. The transformation connects onboarding, ongoing client and account changes, and offboarding as one enterprise capability. The VP will help establish its organization, governance, funding and delivery approach, with a focus on improving client experience, reducing handoffs and operational risk, and increasing efficiency. The role also coordinates target operating model design, process and technology change, data and controls, readiness and adoption, and sustained benefits realization across organizational boundaries. The position requires significant experience leading complex transformation programs, ideally in financial services or another regulated environment. A bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree and relevant transformation or project-management certification are preferred. The stated annual salary range is $110,000–$188,750. State Street describes a comprehensive benefits program including retirement savings, insurance coverage, paid time off, an Employee Assistance Program, incentive compensation eligibility and access to certain tax-advantaged savings plans.
