Requirements

  • Holds post‑secondary education.
  • Has completed the CSC (mandatory) and ideally additional industry designations demonstrating a commitment to capital markets.
  • Brings 5+ years of experience in the wealth management space, specifically as an investment wholesaler or internal wholesaler.
  • Has a proven track record of managing an advisory region (MFDA and IIROC).
  • Demonstrates clear, proven success prospecting within the IIROC channel.
  • Possesses a complete understanding of the securities, investment, and mutual fund industries and products.
  • Shows strong sales acumen and business development capabilities.
  • Is comfortable traveling extensively to effectively cover the Prairies territory.

Responsibilities

  • Generate strong sales results and achieve annual targets while maintaining positive asset growth across a region comprised of MFDA and IIROC advisors.
  • Proactively prospect and engage new and existing clients through phone calls, virtual and face‑to‑face meetings, branch presentations, manager visits, and general correspondence.
  • Develop and maintain high‑quality relationships through cold calls, warm referrals, meetings, events, and ongoing prospecting.
  • Represent iA Clarington with excellence, professionalism, and deep knowledge of our products.
  • Strengthen advisor partnerships by offering value‑added insights, ongoing service, and consistent follow‑through.
