About The Position

EO Johnson Business Technologies is seeking a strategic, results-driven Vice President of Sales to lead and elevate our Business Technologies division. This executive leader will drive revenue growth, align sales strategy with company goals, and develop high-performing sales leaders across our organization. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field required
  • 10+ years of leadership experience, including managing sales teams and leaders
  • Experience managing and being accountable for a significant P&L (>$50M)
  • Strong executive presence with excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Proven track record of developing high-performing sales teams and leaders
  • Strategic mindset with deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive positioning, and business technology trends
  • Ability to drive organizational change, secure buy-in, and execute initiatives effectively
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales technologies
  • Willingness to travel frequently across MN, WI, IA, and MI

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans that drive long-term revenue and profitability growth
  • Lead, coach, and develop Sales Managers to maximize team performance and accountability
  • Analyze sales data to forecast results, identify risks, and uncover growth opportunities
  • Align sales strategies, execution plans, and performance with overall company objectives
  • Partner with the Division President on pricing strategies, product direction, and key distributor/manufacturer relationships
  • Spend time in the field conducting ride-alongs, observing sales calls, and engaging key customers to ensure best practices and pipeline health
  • Support Sales Managers in closing high-value deals and expanding major accounts
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Service, and Sales Administration to optimize performance, CRM utilization, and forecasting accuracy
  • Plan and manage sales programs, incentives, and tools that drive performance and support growth
  • Represent EO Johnson at industry, community, and company events
