About The Position

The Vice President of Operations provides enterprise-wide leadership and strategic direction for Angels of Care, overseeing the performance, scalability, and integration of all operational regions and service lines. This employee ensures operational excellence, financial stewardship, and cultural consistency across the organization while championing Angels of Care’s mission and HALOS values—Heart, Advocacy, Love, Outreach, and Speed. As a key member of Angels of Care, the VP of Operations drives alignment between strategy and execution, fosters leadership development, and ensures Angels of Care delivers exceptional outcomes for clients, families, and clinicians.

  • 12+ years experience of progressive operational leadership in healthcare, multi-state, or enterprise-wide responsibility.
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale operational transformations, managing complex budgets, and integrating cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of collaboration with payors, regulators, and community stakeholders.
  • Experience embedding mission-driven culture and values across large, distributed organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide enterprise oversight of all regional operations to ensure standardization, performance, and alignment with AOC strategy, mission, and HALOS values.
  • Partner with leaders (Finance, Clinical, People & Culture, Quality, and Growth) to develop and implement integrated operational strategies that enhance enterprise scalability and effectiveness.
  • Lead the design and implementation of systems and processes that improve consistency, efficiency, and quality of care delivery.
  • Oversee and mentor Regional Vice Presidents and senior operational leaders, ensuring effective succession planning and leadership pipeline development.
  • Drive accountability for operational KPIs, compliance, and client/clinician satisfaction metrics across all regions.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and peers on long-term strategic initiatives, including market expansion, mergers/acquisitions, and service diversification.
  • Represent Angels of Care with payors, regulators, and national associations to advance advocacy and influence healthcare policy for pediatric home health.
  • Ensure operational and financial sustainability across all service lines, maintaining full P&L accountability and transparent resource management.
  • Lead organizational readiness for growth initiatives, balancing expansion with capacity, quality, and compliance.
  • Champion Angels of Care’s culture of Love and engagement, ensuring HALOS values are embedded in all leadership practices, decision-making, and employee experiences.
  • Drive risk mitigation and rapid resolution of enterprise-level operational issues, sentinel events, or systemic barriers to mission delivery.
