About The Position

This is an opportunity to shape a brand that lives at the intersection of sport, hospitality, and human connection. The Vice President of Brand Management is responsible for defining, evolving and activating the KemperSports brand across all touchpoints including teammate, client, and consumer. This role sits at the center of strategy and execution, ensuring the brand is not only clearly defined, but consistently brought to life across marketing, communications, property-level experiences, and business development efforts. The Vice President will lead brand strategy, architecture, storytelling and governance while partnering cross-functionally to translate brand into growth, differentiation and client value.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of experience in brand management, marketing strategy, or related field
  • Experience in hospitality, sports, lifestyle, or multi-location service brands preferred
  • Proven ability to build and scale brands across complex, decentralized organizations
  • Strong strategic thinking paired with hands-on execution capability
  • Exceptional storytelling, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience managing creative teams and agency partners
  • Ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve KemperSports’ brand positioning, narrative and value proposition across B2B and B2C audiences
  • Maintain a clear and differentiated brand story across the enterprise in all communication channels and mediums with sharp focus on new business development growth
  • Lead development of brand communication strategies, messaging platforms, and campaign themes aligned to business priorities
  • Translate brand strategy into compelling, integrated marketing and communication programs
  • Lead development of brand campaigns, thought leadership, and storytelling that elevate KemperSports’ market presence
  • Partner with PR and social teams to ensure consistent voice and narrative across all channels
  • Champion “brand in action” ensuring the experience delivered at properties reflects the brand promise
  • Oversee creative direction across all brand expressions (visual identity, tone of voice, content standards)
  • Guide development of high-impact content (video, social, digital, experiential) that showcases the brand
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all creative outputs internally and with agency partners
  • Establish and enforce brand guidelines across the organization and portfolio
  • Build scalable tools and resources for property-level marketing teams to execute within brand standards
  • Conduct regular brand audits to ensure alignment and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Partner with new business development, operations, and HR to embed brand into all aspects of the business
  • Support client acquisition and retention by clearly and consistently articulating the KemperSports brand advantage
  • Collaborate with field marketing teams to ensure brand consistency with local relevance
  • Lead and develop brand and creative team members
  • Manage external agencies (creative, branding, content, research) to deliver best-in-class work
