About The Position

Fingerpaint is seeking a highly motivated and talented Vice President, Account Director to provide account-management leadership across multiple accounts and strategic guidance to clients. The role is responsible for building strong client relationships, maintaining fiscal account health, and representing the brand diplomatically within the agency and externally. The position combines management, liaison, strategic-thinking, and problem-solving responsibilities and requires travel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 9 to 13 years of experience in a pharmaceutical or healthcare marketing agency.
• Effective presentation, mentorship, and client-facing skills.
• Solid understanding of Veeva systems and client requirements.
• Strong knowledge of industry trends and guidelines, including CAN-SPAM and privacy policy requirements.
• Fluency in market research methodology and approaches.
• Deep knowledge of the category, competitive set, and client pipeline.
• Understanding of FDA rules and regulations and the life cycle of a brand.
• Excellent understanding of the digital marketplace and advertising formats.
• Ability to think strategically, creatively, and collaboratively.
• Ability to lead and collaborate effectively with multiple team members.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in media, analytics, and measurement.
• Advanced degree, such as a Master’s, PharmD, or PhD.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the financial health of accounts.
• Deliver strategic client presentations, recommendations, and annual brand plans.
• Manage and mentor junior team members.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure overall satisfaction with the team and agency.
• Support new business initiatives and pitches.
• Identify and cultivate client opportunities.
• Communicate strategy and tactical plans effectively across large multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor current brand and competitor news, trends, and opportunities.
