About The Position

Angell Animal Medical Center of Boston is seeking experienced Veterinary Technician Supervisors to join their Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) departments. Positions are available on both day and overnight shifts. The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory or leadership experience, experience in emergency veterinary medicine, and a passion for teaching and professional growth in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluation process for all ECC Service Staff.
• Create work schedules, prepare payroll, and process personnel records for Inpatient Service Staff.
• Provide nursing care for complex diseases and train members of the ECC team.
• Assist clinicians in triaging, stabilizing, and providing high-quality nursing care to patients.
• Offer instruction and demonstration to veterinary students, interns, residents, and other technicians.
