About The Position

Senior Helpers of Northwest Pittsburgh is hiring caregivers to provide in-home care and companionship to seniors. The role offers an opportunity to build meaningful connections with clients and support their quality of life. Care assignments are matched to caregivers’ areas of expertise. The organization welcomes applicants with backgrounds or credentials such as CNA, PCA, RN, New Grad RN, LPN, LVN, or HHA. Senior Helpers provides in-home senior care, including specialized care for people with chronic diseases and companion services for seniors who need help with daily activities. Requirements

Caring and compassionate attitude and enjoyment of helping others.
Willingness to learn new skills to best assist clients.

Nice To Haves

Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance, or nursing assistance.
Credentials or experience as a CNA, PCA, RN, New Grad RN, LPN, LVN, or HHA.

Responsibilities

Assist with assigned activities of daily living (ADLs).
Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation and recreational activities.
Perform household tasks such as meal preparation and tidying up.
