About The Position
Senior Helpers of Northwest Pittsburgh is hiring caregivers to provide in-home care and support to seniors. The role offers an opportunity to build meaningful connections with clients and support their quality of life. Care assignments are matched to caregivers’ areas of expertise. Day and overnight shifts are available.
Requirements
- Caring and compassionate, with an enjoyment of helping others.
- Willingness to learn new skills to best assist clients.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance, or nursing assistance.
- Experience as a CNA, PCA, RN, New Grad RN, LPN, LVN, or HHA.
Responsibilities
- Assist with assigned Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
- Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation and recreational activities.
- Perform household tasks, including meal preparation and tidying up.
