About The Position

Right at Home Salt Lake is hiring compassionate caregivers to support seniors and adults with disabilities so they can live safely and comfortably at home. Caregivers improve clients’ daily lives by offering companionship, assisting with personal hygiene and mobility, preparing meals, maintaining safe and tidy homes, providing transportation to appointments or outings, and giving timely medication reminders. The role is available on day shifts, with part-time and full-time opportunities.

Requirements

Be 18 years of age or older.
Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Be eligible to work in the United States.
Be able to pass a background check.
Have experience with dementia and behavioral care.

Nice To Haves

Experience using a Hoyer lift and gait belt.

Responsibilities

Offer companionship to clients.
Assist clients with personal hygiene and mobility.
Prepare nutritious meals.
Keep clients’ homes safe and tidy.
Provide transportation to appointments or outings.
Give timely medication reminders.

Benefits

Starting pay of $17.00 to $18.25 per hour, depending on experience, Dementia Certification, or CNA; minimum $27.50 per shift.
Training and GUIDE Respite shifts paid at $17.00 per hour.
Raises available after 60 days and through annual reviews with consistent hours.
Bonus after 60 days for caregivers working 20 or more hours per week and completing required documents.
Mileage paid between client visits when visits are less than one hour apart.
CNA school program opportunity.
