About The Position

Feed Energy is hiring Operators for day and night shifts. Day shifts run from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and night shifts run from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Both shifts follow a 2-2-3 schedule, and applicants should indicate their preferred shift when applying. Starting pay is $21.00 per hour. Night-shift employees receive an additional $1.60 per hour, and Operators are eligible for quarterly bonuses.

Operators carry out daily plant operations in accordance with standard operating procedures and safety requirements. The role involves preparing and operating machinery and plant production systems, monitoring product processing and quality, maintaining operational records, and loading and unloading trailers and rail cars. Operators also perform assigned housekeeping duties and are expected to demonstrate the company’s values in daily interactions. Employment is contingent on passing a background check and drug screen.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to operate computer systems, including Microsoft Outlook, PIMS, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Ability to read and write English and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored visa support.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Follow standard operating procedures during daily operations.
• Follow safety rules, inspect safety equipment, and maintain safety standards.
• Prepare machinery for operation.
• Keep records and logs associated with plant operations.
• Operate valves and pumps used in plant production systems to move products between tanks.
• Monitor product temperatures and pH, as well as processing and transfer times.
• Monitor product quality and take and maintain samples as required by procedures.
• Unload and load trailers and rail cars.
• Operate a shag tractor to spot trailers.
• Perform housekeeping duties assigned by the Shift Lead, Operations Supervisor, or Plant Management.
• Demonstrate company values in everyday work interactions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
