Veterinary Technician General Practice Supervisor
About The Position
VCA South Shore (Weymouth) is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician Supervisor to join our General Practice team at our 24-7 general, emergency and specialty hospital located in South Weymouth, MA. We have a unique culture that values each person’s individual skill and personality. We are a team with a shared devotion to providing progressive medicine with compassion as a driving force. We offer monthly training and support on various industry-focused leadership and development topics. Your success is our success, and we work as a collaborative unit providing you the connectivity of 10 additional specialty hospital supervisor teams to grow, learn, and share information with. - Experience in General Practice
- Experience in Emergency and Specialty care
- Experience in Neurology and MRI

- Experience with acupuncture and nutrition support
Responsibilities
- Full Technician Skill Utilization
- Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
- Coaching associates based on need to aid in their success
- Some regional travel required
- Facilitate communication of ideas, policies, standards and performance
- Provide feedback related to associate performance, and collaborate with leadership to develop performance improvement plans
- Support associates in their career via VTNE guidance, licensure guidance, and scheduling
- Maintain skill efficiency and knowledge
