About The Position

The Cardiology Technician/Assistant works collaboratively with their assigned veterinarian, other staff veterinarians and the entire Angell support staff to provide Angell clientele with excellent clinical and customer service. These services include providing technical support in the examination room with outpatient and inpatient procedures, assisting with case management of animals admitted to the hospital, assisting with technical and anesthetic procedures. Other responsibilities include communications with clients and sometimes referring veterinarians. We are looking for a Vet Technician/Assistant with excellent interpersonal communication skills who enjoys working in a team environment while maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude. The Cardiology Technician or Assistant must have a strong technical background and knowledge of veterinary medicine and recognize the importance of conveying this knowledge and expertise to others.

Requirements

At least 1 year of veterinary technician/assistant experience in a clinical environment
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Strong technical background and knowledge of veterinary medicine
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (demonstrated by cover letter)

Nice To Haves

Certified Veterinary Technician preferred
Certified Veterinary Technician, CVT required to be hired as a technician
