Veterinary Technician- Cardiology
About The Position
BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring an extraordinary Cardiology Veterinary Technician! This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system. As a Cardiology Veterinary Technician, you will provide nursing care to stable patients according to hospital standards of care and core values. You will report patient signalment, problem list and plan during nursing rounds. You will also calculate basic medical math, understand classification of commonly-used medications, associated side effects and appropriately monitors therapeutic response. You will administer medications via appropriate routes and duration, perform phlebotomy, triage and obtain patient history, assist clinician with diagnostic procedures, provide patient care including treatments, prepare prescriptions and communicate discharge orders to clients.
Requirements
- Provide nursing care to stable patients according to hospital standards of care and core values.

- Unrestricted, current authorization to work in the U.S. and not require future sponsorship for an employment-based green card.
