Requirements

Previous veterinary reception or animal hospital experience strongly preferred
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Confidence handling high call volume and competing priorities
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Comfort interacting with clients, patients, and team members
Basic computer skills and willingness to learn practice management software
Ability to remain calm, compassionate, and professional during emotional situations
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
Answer phones, route calls appropriately, and respond to client inquiries
Schedule appointments and help manage daily appointment flow
Check patients in and out while ensuring accurate client and patient information
Collect payments and process invoices
Maintain accurate medical records and client information
Assist with prescription refill requests and routine follow-up communications
Coordinate with veterinarians and technicians to support efficient patient flow
Keep the reception and waiting areas clean, organized, and welcoming
