Requirements

  • Prior experience in a veterinary, medical, or customer service receptionist role preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate demeanor
  • Comfortable handling and being around animals of all types and sizes
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and basic computer skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus in the San Diego area

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival and check them in for appointments
  • Answer and manage incoming phone calls, emails, and appointment scheduling
  • Maintain and update patient records accurately in the veterinary management system
  • Process payments, invoices, and handle billing inquiries
  • Communicate effectively with veterinarians and veterinary technicians to coordinate patient flow
  • Educate clients on clinic services, products, and follow-up care instructions
  • Manage front desk operations and maintain a clean, organized reception area
