About The Position
Shirlington Animal Hospital is seeking a friendly, dependable, and hardworking Veterinary Receptionist to join our team! The ideal candidate will be reliable, have a positive attitude, strong multitasking skills, and a passion for providing excellent client service in a fast-paced veterinary environment.
Requirements
- Previous veterinary reception or veterinary clinic experience required
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently at times and as part of a team
- Friendly, professional, and reliable work ethic
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Avimark is a plus
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets with a warm, professional, and compassionate approach
- Check patients in and out efficiently and accurately
- Answer and manage a multi-line phone system
- Schedule appointments and assist with daily clinic flow
- Maintain accurate medical records and client information
- Process payments and handle basic administrative duties
- Communicate effectively with doctors, technicians, and clients
- Support clinic operations as needed
