About The Position

Trinity Oaks Pet Wellness Center is a progressive, multi-doctor general animal practice in Trinity, Florida, serving nearby communities. The Veterinary Receptionist helps maintain an efficient and welcoming hospital reception area, supports clients and patients, and contributes to the daily flow of the practice. Receptionists provide compassionate, discreet emotional support to clients during difficult situations and must be comfortable with varied medical outcomes. The position offers virtual and hands-on interactive training and continuing development.

Requirements

Be compassionate, calm, a team player, able to multitask, and a strong communicator.
Be highly organized and possess computer skills.
Be a self-starter with a desire to continue advancing knowledge and skills.
Be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises and possible exposure to bites, scratches, animal waste, and potentially contagious diseases.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of veterinary experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area.
Greet and welcome clients and patients.
Answer questions and triage client concerns.
Answer calls and emails and direct them to the appropriate party for resolution.
Schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow.
Check clients in and out and process payments.
Offer friendly, compassionate, and discreet emotional support to clients during times of need.
