About The Position
Join Port City Veterinary Referral Hospital in Portsmouth, NH, as a Veterinary Receptionist. You will be the first point of contact for clients visiting our 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital. Requirements
- Previous customer service experience required; veterinary or medical reception experience is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable adapting to changing priorities and handling unexpected situations.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding client service.
- Fluent English speaking and reading skills required.

Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and pets while providing an exceptional first impression.
- Educate clients and referring veterinarians about our specialty and emergency services.
- Schedule appointments for our multi-specialty hospital while ensuring a smooth client experience.
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist clients with compassion and professionalism.
- Manage reminder calls, follow-up communications, and email correspondence.
- Maintain accurate client and patient records.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to support specialty and urgent care services.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
