About The Position

Calgary Animal Referral and Emergency (C.A.R.E.) Centre is welcoming a full-time Veterinary Reception, Client Care to join our team. We’re looking for a personable yet highly professional “service extraordinaire” to join us in delivering our mission to our clients and their pets.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in customer service and administrative duties
  • Prior knowledge/or ability to learn medical terminology and VCA Woofware
  • Exceptional client service skills
  • Empathetic, nurturing, and positive attitude
  • Skilled in prioritizing needs, open to change, and adaptable
  • Initiative in carrying out assignments independently
  • Attention to detail with above-average time management skills
  • Must be flexible and available to work shift work weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Shifts will start at 6 a.m. on any given day

Nice To Haves

  • Previous veterinary experience or graduate from an accredited Veterinary Assistant program is preferred
