About The Position

North Oatlands Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Practice Manager to lead and provide structure for a team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff. The role calls for an understanding of the veterinary industry and prior experience overseeing clinic operations. The manager will lead with clarity, handle multiple priorities, and contribute to the clinic's continued excellence and the well-being of the animals in its care.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The salary range is $70,000–$105,000, depending on skills and experience. The manager will also work part time on the floor, both in the back and up front.

Requirements

• Previous management experience in a veterinary setting.
• Experience executing clinical HR functions, including SOPs, evaluations, and disciplinary action.
• Comfortable working part time on the floor, both in the back and up front.
• Ability to quickly learn and use the ImproMed practice management system.

Nice To Haves

• Business degree or CVPM.

• Oversee day-to-day operations, with a primary focus on personnel management, including hiring, training, and development.
• Manage clinic operations, including scheduling and inventory management.
• Guide and coach colleagues toward continuous improvement while maintaining a strong commitment to the client experience.
