About The Position

Cainhoy Veterinary Hospital is seeking a full-time Practice Manager to provide leadership and structure to a team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff. The manager will oversee clinic operations, lead personnel, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to the hospital’s ongoing excellence and the well-being of its animal patients. The role includes working part time on the floor, both in the back and up front. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The salary is $65,000–$80,000 per year, determined by the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications, with eligibility for a performance-based annual bonus of up to 15%. Requirements

Previous management experience in a veterinary setting.
Comfort working part time on the floor, both in the back and up front.
Experience executing clinical HR functions, including SOPs, evaluations, and disciplinary action.
Ability to quickly learn and use the EzyVet practice management system.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day clinic operations, with a primary focus on personnel management.
Hire, train, and develop team members.
Manage clinic scheduling and inventory.
Guide and coach colleagues toward continuous improvement while maintaining a strong commitment to the client experience.
Balance the needs of the business and staff.
Work part time on the floor, both in the back and up front.
Execute clinical human resources functions, including SOPs, evaluations, and disciplinary action.
