About The Position

The Animal Emergency and Specialty Center of NWA is seeking a Client Service Representative (CSR) to join their fast-paced animal emergency team. This role is crucial for client and patient interactions, providing top-tier customer service and compassionate care during stressful moments. The position requires flexibility with scheduling, including day/swing and night/swing shifts, as well as weekend hours. The practice is busy, emphasizing the need for staff who can handle high-stress situations, multitask effectively, and possess strong communication skills.

Requirements

• Experienced Receptionist with a minimum of 1-year veterinary experience preferred.
• We are open 24 hours and will require both day and weekend shifts.
• Compassionate and calm team-player.
• The ability to multi-task.
• Strong communication skills are a must!
• Highly organized and possess computer skills.
• Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset.

• Be a calming presence: Stay level-headed and professional in emergency situations while providing support and solutions for emotional clients.
• Master the art of de-escalation: Use empathy and communication skills to address and resolve concerns.
• Teamwork is key: Collaborate with veterinary staff and fellow CSRs to maintain smooth operations and outstanding client care.
• Stay sharp and grow: Participate in monthly training sessions and complete continuing education hours annually.
