About The Position

Charleston Veterinary Referral Center (CVRC) is hiring a full-time Veterinary Client Service Representative to join our Client Care Department in Charleston, SC. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced veterinary environment, has strong attention to detail, and wants to build their skills while supporting both clients and patients. As a Veterinary Client Service Representative, you will help coordinate a smooth experience for clients and patients before, during, and after their visits.

Requirements

Previous experience in veterinary medicine, healthcare, customer service, or a similar client-facing environment preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working collaboratively with clients and veterinary team members
Positive, professional, and compassionate approach to client service
Ability to learn veterinary terminology, hospital processes, and specialty services
Strong computer and administrative skills
Fluent English speaking and reading skills required.

Responsibilities

Schedule patient appointments with multiple specialty departments
Obtain and organize medical records and diagnostic imaging prior to appointments
Confirm appointments and provide clients with relevant care and drop-off instructions
Prepare treatment plan estimates and related paperwork for patient arrivals
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, veterinary teams, and hospital departments
Maintain accurate patient and client information
Multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced veterinary hospital
Provide a positive, compassionate client experience while supporting efficient hospital workflows
