Requirements

Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant.
Knowledge of veterinary procedures and terminology.
Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in record-keeping and basic computer skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Certification as a Veterinary Assistant.
Experience with specific veterinary software.
Familiarity with low-stress handling techniques.

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with medical procedures.
Provide compassionate care to animal patients.
Perform laboratory tests and analyses.
Administer medications and treatments as directed.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Educate pet owners on animal care and treatment plans.
Clean and maintain examination rooms and equipment.
Handle client communication and scheduling.
