Advanced Care Veterinary Hospital is seeking candidates for a full-time Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist to join their exceptional team. This is a hybrid role combining veterinary assistant and receptionist duties. The ideal candidate will have a "can-do" attitude and an outgoing personality. Advanced Care is a thriving small-animal and exotic practice committed to providing high-quality medicine and surgery. The facility is well-equipped with a large surgical suite, dental suite, ultrasound, digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, in-house laboratory, therapeutic laser, and underwater treadmill. They also offer chiropractic, acupuncture, and rehabilitation services. The hospital emphasizes building relationships with clients and the community while practicing current medicine.

Requirements

Dedication to patient care
High School Diploma
Two years of experience of veterinary experience or a Veterinary Assistant degree
Self-motivation and the ability to manage time
Excellent communication skills
Organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
Obtaining diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy, and sample collection, and performing in-house lab work
Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff
Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions
Attentive patient care
General cleaning, husbandry, and restocking of the clinic
