Veterinary Assistant
About The Position
Sploot Veterinary Care is rewriting the rules of veterinary medicine and your next role could be part of it! At Sploot, we believe that cared for teams provide better medicine. We offer sustainable schedules with 10 or 12-hour shifts and varying days per week with no overnights. You will work alongside a phenomenal team of doctors and nurses who are here to answer your questions and provide guidance on a daily basis. You will utilize Sploot’s modern tools for modern care including a laparoscopic surgery suite and CoVET AI Scribe to handle note taking. Practicing both urgent care and general practice, no day is ever the same. We also offer exceptional pet benefits, providing care either free, at cost, or deep discounts for up to 5 of your own pets.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a veterinary assistant.
- Strong collaborative skills and willingness to work closely with veterinarians and technicians.
- Passion for innovating and delivering best-in-class care whenever pets need it.
- Detail-oriented, with a focus on productivity and clinic flow.

Responsibilities
- Create a calm, reassuring experience so pet parents feel confident in their pets’ care.
- Assist doctors and technicians with treatments and procedures, including safe pet restraint.
- Maintain a clean, organized clinic for pets, clients, and the team.
