About The Position
Blue Cross Animal Hospital is seeking a part-time Associate Veterinarian to provide care at its full-service small animal and exotic general practice in Royal Oak, Michigan. The clinic has served Royal Oak and nearby communities since 2010 and focuses on compassionate, dependable care and lasting relationships with clients and their pets. The practice sees an average of 15–18 patients per day, with a support staff ratio of 2:1. Its case mix includes preventive and wellness care, dentistry, surgery, spay and neuter procedures, sick visits, diagnostics, and exotic animal care. Available equipment includes digital and dental radiography, an in-house laboratory, ultrasound, and a surgical suite. The veterinarian will have medical autonomy while working with skilled technicians, dedicated client service representatives, and supportive leadership. The hospital offers operational and medical support, mentorship, flexible scheduling, and opportunities to develop clinical interests. An interest in exotic medicine is welcome but not required. Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university.

Responsibilities
- Provide veterinary care across preventive and wellness visits, dentistry, surgery, spay and neuter procedures, sick visits, diagnostics, and exotic animal care.
