About The Position

Pieper Memorial Veterinary Center is expanding and seeking experienced Emergency Veterinarians to join their team in Middletown, Connecticut. The facility is state-of-the-art and offers a collegial and collaborative work environment with support from technicians, assistants, a client liaison, and boarded specialists in various fields. The practice also benefits from an on-site Antech reference laboratory with a clinical pathologist. Pieper prioritizes a doctor-led, medicine-first approach and offers equity options to veterinarians. They are committed to education, partnering with Middlesex Community College for veterinary technology training and offering internships and residencies. Pieper Veterinary has a network of hospitals in Connecticut and has partnered with additional hospitals in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Maine, and Ohio, focusing on growth and quality veterinarian-led medicine.

Responsibilities

• Practice the highest level of medicine.
• Collaborate with a team of technicians, assistants, and a client liaison.
• Work alongside boarded specialists and seasoned primary care veterinarians.
• Support the community through an integrated veterinary system.
• Provide clinical training for veterinary technology programs.
