The company is currently in a significant growth phase, expanding to meet increased demand and new opportunities, and is seeking talented individuals to join its team. The Vessel Designer position is a full-time, onsite role at ABEC's Springfield, MO facility. This role involves working under the direction of a Design Team Leader or Manager, utilizing independent judgment to perform day-to-day project duties. These duties include designing, developing, and releasing deliverables like detail and assembly drawings and related bills-of-material for equipment used in pilot and commercial scale biopharmaceutical manufacturing, primarily focusing on pressure vessel assemblies for fluid and gas handling and motorized agitation systems. The primary responsibility is generating design plans using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD software, requiring high attention to detail and a strong understanding of ASME/BPE Bioprocessing Equipment design standards.
