VENDING ATTENDANT (FULL TIME)
About The Position
The Vending Attendant provides vending products and services at a single customer location. The role receives deliveries, stocks vending machines and coolers, collects cash and merchandise, records transactions, and maintains vending equipment and areas. The attendant also supports customers by checking service adequacy, handling complaints, communicating new products or services, preparing food and pastry orders, and setting up promotional displays. This is a full-time position with a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Canteen in Garden Grove, California. The pay range is $19.30 to $20.20 per hour. Previous stocking skills and the ability to read product code dates are required.

Responsibilities
- Receive deliveries of soft drinks, bakery products, specialty foods, snacks, and sundries at the customer's place of business.
- Stock vending machines and coolers; collect stale, rejected, or unsold merchandise.
- Collect money from machines and refill bill and coin changers.
- Record transactions using the appropriate card or electronic device.
- Remain accountable for cash and products.
- Contact existing customers to determine whether service is adequate.
- Prepare order forms for food and pastry products.
- Inform regular customers about new products or services.
- Listen to and resolve service complaints.
- Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines and keep the storeroom and vending area clean.
- Set up merchandise and promotional displays or provide promotional materials to customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
