About The Position

Toromont Manutention is looking for a parts counter salesperson to join their team! The parts counter salesperson will be an essential part of the parts team as the primary contact with customers. They will provide consistently superior service while advising and distributing parts. The position is in the Pointe-Claire branch with a schedule of 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Requirements

• High school diploma minimum
• 1 year+ experience in parts sales (regardless of sector)
• Ability to multitask.
• Interpersonal, collaborative, and communication skills.
• Good organization
• Listening skills

Responsibilities

• Process orders by email and phone, and sell parts at the counter.
• Coordinate daily parts functions, including sourcing, orders, backorders, basic processing, and pickup and delivery of parts to internal and external customers.
• Ensure customer needs are met efficiently, competently, and professionally.
• Process all parts returns, cores, and warranty parts.
• Follow up on backorders.
• Demonstrate safe, environmentally responsible work behaviors in accordance with Toromont's health and safety policies, programs, and initiatives.
