About The Position

Valvoline Instant Oil Change is hiring an entry-level Vehicle Service Specialist to provide customer service and perform preventative maintenance services that help keep guests safe on the road. No previous automotive experience is required. Employees receive hands-on support through an award-winning training program covering vehicle maintenance tasks and safety checks. The role offers the potential to advance to Service Center Manager within 18–24 months.

Requirements

Schedule flexibility; weekend availability is likely.
Eagerness to learn, a friendly attitude, and interest in a customer-focused team.
Ability to review, read, and understand written and digital training materials, safety procedures, labels, and operational instructions.
Fluency in English reading, writing, and speaking.
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to crouch, bend, twist, and work with hands above the head.
Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

Provide top-tier customer service in a collaborative team environment.
Change oil and check or refill vehicle fluids.
Rotate tires.
Test and replace batteries.
Inspect and replace lights and wipers.
Perform an 18-point safety check and other preventative maintenance services.
