About The Position

Valvoline Instant Oil Change is hiring an entry-level Vehicle Service Specialist to provide customer service and perform preventive maintenance services that help keep guests safe on the road. Previous automotive experience is not required; the company provides hands-on training through its award-winning training program. Training includes oil changes, fluid checks and refills, tire rotations, battery testing and replacement, light and wiper inspection and replacement, 18-point safety checks, and other preventive maintenance services. The position is located at 13401 Yarmouth Dr, Pickerington, Ohio 43147. The role requires schedule flexibility and may involve weekend availability, but employees do not work late nights or holidays. Work takes place in a non-climate-controlled environment and involves standing for up to eight hours, climbing stairs, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, and crouching, bending, twisting, and working with hands above the head.

Requirements

Be able to crouch, bend, twist, and work with hands above the head.
Be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests.
Perform preventive maintenance services on vehicles.
Change oil and check or refill vehicle fluids.
Rotate tires.
Test and replace batteries.
Inspect and replace lights and wipers.
Perform 18-point safety checks.
Complete other preventive maintenance services.
