Entry Level Vehicle Service Specialist
About The Position
As a Vehicle Service Specialist at Valvoline Instant Oil Change, you will work with a friendly, collaborative team to provide customer service and perform preventive maintenance services that help keep guests safe on the road. No previous automotive experience is required; the company provides hands-on training through its award-winning training program. Training covers oil changes, checking and refilling fluids, tire rotations, battery testing and replacement, light and wiper inspection and replacement, 18-point safety checks, and other preventive maintenance services. The role requires schedule flexibility, including likely weekend availability, and involves working in a non-climate-controlled environment. The position is located at 3600 Riverside Dr, Upper Arlington, OH 43221.
Requirements
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
- Friendly attitude and desire to contribute to a customer-focused team.
- Schedule flexibility; weekend availability is likely.
- Ability to review, read, and understand written and digital training materials, safety procedures, labels, and operational instructions.
- English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking.
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to crouch, bend, twist, and work with hands above the head.
- Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to guests.
- Perform oil changes.
- Check and refill vehicle fluids.
- Rotate tires.
